- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté sliced sausage for 5–8 minutes until browned.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir in Cajun seasoning. Mix well to combine.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 4 minutes, until sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add cooked pasta to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately. Garnish with chopped parsley or red pepper flakes if desired.
Notes
To reheat, add a splash of milk or cream and warm over low heat to restore the creamy consistency. You can also swap the sausage for shrimp or chicken for a twist.
